Sin City to be torn down

Tuesday night, the City of Little Rock decided to tear down "Sin City." The abandoned apartment complex in southwest Little Rock was known as a hotbed of crime in the 1990s.

i wonder if the opposition was more based on "we're not worthy of the VA being here" versus "they're not good enough to be here." They should be honored to have the VA willing to stay in the area. -- USAF retired '80 - '01

dilli, I have said from the beginning the VA move would happen, once the Feds start on something like this, there is very little a City government can do to stop it. It is a good thing and we should do everything we can for our Vets.

If people dont want the VA in the neighborhood, then they arent true blooded Americans. They are basically turning their noses up to the Vets. Im glad the city finally realized there is nothing they can do to stop the move.
