Six people wounded in shooting

Six people are recovering from gunshot wounds suffered early this morning outside a bar.
HOT SPRINGS, AR – Six people are recovering from gunshot wounds suffered early this morning outside a bar. Police are still trying to determine what led to the shooting spree.

Corporal McCrary Means with the Hot Springs Police Department says around 3:00am, Saturday morning, officer responded to a shots fired call at the Pockets Full Bar, 110 Jefferson Street in Hot Springs. There they found two men lying on the ground with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital with what are described as injuries that are not life-threatening.

Corporal Means says further investigation of the incident revealed four other people had been wounded. All were also been taken to the hospital from the scene in private vehicles. Their injuries are also not believed to be life-threatening.

Detectives continue to interview witnesses and collect evidence. Thus far there are no reports of any arrests in connection with the incident.
