QUITMAN, Ark. (AP) - A small earthquake has shaken parts of a central Arkansas county.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 2.0-magnitude quake was recorded about 3 miles west-northwest of Quitman about 5:19 a.m. Monday.
A Cleburne County Sheriff's dispatcher said he had received no injury or damage reports about the earthquake.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans.
