Some of you friendly arkie folks are just plain wrong! Pine Bluff needs more of an illegal immigrant problem, because there is no way this town won't continue to decay unless many more of them move here. You people don't understand capitalist economics. Those immigrants pay taxes, and the idea that they get a lot of good, free healthcare, and other advantages by living off us, is a myth. They subsidize us. Some are suckered into joining our military. We need to get more young immigrants over here to help prop up our social security, medicare and medicaid.

Every city you go to has this problem. I dont mind a person moving from one country to another to improve their family life, but damnit, I do mind them not paying taxes and getting free education, healthcare, etc. The Chinese are running slave houses all over Arkansas and other states, its no secret. But dont think for one second that America is going to do anything about it because that would be cutting their financial foot off.

If they weren't here illegaly they wouldn't be hired buy these people and they wouldn't be misstreated the way they are now.Our population is high enough without begging others to move in and live off us. I understand they want a better life . But what these people get is no better than what they had. They may as well try to do it the legal way. Then they may be more welcome by us.

That would be called common sense. If their working here that is taking jobs our citizens could be working. I see where you say your in Crime Bluff so I can see your your reasoning. All you understand are crime reports.

Dear wpsark: You have just as much ability as anyone to go into a business that competes with the cheaters by cheating. There have been many businesses in Pine Bluff that have not paid their taxes like they were supposed to, and it hasn't always been because of illegals - or President Obama.

Dear Butch54: There are no reliable studies or statistics that support what you say. The unemployment rate in The United Police States of America has always been too high. An economy that's too capitalist is always unstable - you can't have full-employment with low inflation permanently, or even for very long. To keep the inflation rate lower than what it would have been otherwise, the Federal Reserve sets an unemployment goal, and sometimes puts workers out of work to meet that goal. We need a good guest-worker program. If a million undocumented workers would suddenly move to Pine Bluff, our economy wouldn't become any worse. Our poverty level is already one of the highest in the nation.

Then think old beanie beanie baby what the unemployment rate would be if they were gathered up and sent back. The people we could get off welfare, food stamps, and other government assisted programs. Their like leaches on the country. Sucking the systems that the people from here need. I believe in taking care of your own. Let the rest go back to their own country. Including this cry baby. IF your tired tired tired leave us.

@randalbean, it is my business..I'm sick of those cheating business owners who hire illegals, they don't have to pay unemployment insurance, match taxes, workers comp or anything else that has to do with running a legitimate business. It's bs and not fair for other employers who have to abide by the law, even when it financially breaks them, when it comes to hiring practices. I pay my taxes so yes, it is my f'n business!!!!!!!!!
