State cyber crimes unit stress importance of child pornography

Back in August, police arrested Richard King on child pornography charges. Investigators say he had nearly fifteen videos.

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Forensic analysts call it the most graphic images ever seen.

Back in August, police arrested Richard King on child pornography charges. Investigators say he had nearly fifteen videos.

"If you ever have to sit and watch as part of your job as a young child is sexually abused by an adult, it is an evil thing," said Assistant Attorney General Bart Dickinson.

Dickinson said the videos and pictures investigators see in these cases will blow you away.  He calls the images evidence from a crime scene.

"These individuals who possess these items get gratified by it sexually. They enjoy watching children being raped," said Dickinson.

Police chiefs and officers from across the state heard about tactics investigators use to catch child predators online.  The cyber crimes unit is still new, and Attorney General Dustin McDaniel wants the officers to remember children's lives are at stake.

"I think there are a lot of people in this state that are preying on our kids and we want them to know the attorney general's office will not tolerate it," said McDaniel.
