I find out that the man released from jail got the gun without permit on the road (driving) and shoot any cop who tried stop him on the traffic. the law enforcement has right to do because of his badge and the law gun. The man was wrong to do that on purpose or he might use the gun for next robbery or something. The cop did good job caught him with illegal gun. they both were hurt and glad that they are treated well. any violator like that should be put away again.

With all the stories of good law officers being charged with crimes lately it was probably hard for them to decide who was the bad guy.

To Tired; "a little more though from BOTH sides" ; give me a break; without being there, I assure you that the suspect either pulled a gun on the Trooper and/or shot at the Trooper first, so the Officer was completely justified in shooting the suspect (without thinking)!!!

Both were human beings...a little more thought should be offered...before you fire a gun....a little more thought from BOTH sides
