I SEE NO EXCUSE WHY SECURITY CRUISING AROUND CAN'T BE ON CALL FOR A LONE STUDENT WALKING TO CAR....OR BUS......OR FROM BUS TO SCHOOL....KEY WORD ALONE...Can't be that much demand as many will not be walking ALONE. THIS IS SUCH A TERRIBLE TRAGEDY...God Bless Patricia and her family and friends.

Just another pr opportunity for Ualr. It's phony because no one bothered to post anything about her on campus. Ualr's chancellor basically came out and said he thinks what we have now is adequate. This is just a way to appear less like money hungry cold you know what's and get some facetime on tv. I bet nothing changes. Admin fat cats will park in safe and cushy parking while our daughters, sons, sisters, and brothers risk it all on the outskirts of campus. Cops at the university will continue to ignore everything but opportunities to write parking tickets and harass people for smoking. I imagine the meeting Thursday will be a complete waste of time. If they can't address that there might be some issues with safety, when will it ever change.
