LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say possible tornadoes may have blown trees onto power lines in parts of Arkansas.
The National Weather Service reported tree damage near Lincoln in Washington County and that trees had been blown onto power lines along Arkansas Highway 356 in Van Buren County Sunday.
A Van Buren County sheriff's dispatcher said the damage to trees and power lines occurred near Morganton. No injuries were reported.
The weather service reported the storm may have been a brief tornado, which radar estimates moved through about 6:10 p.m. Meteorologist Julie Lesko in the National Weather Service Little Rock office says forecasters won't know if it was a tornado until surveys are conducted on Monday.
Tornado warnings also were issued for Cleburne, Conway and Faulkner counties, but no injuries or damage were reported.
