HOT SPRINGS, AR - Entergy crews have determined what caused a transformer to explode during the Hot Springs Saint Patrick’s Day parade.

Spokeswoman Julie Munsell says a metallic streamer from a float hit one of the lines and caused two fuses to explode as a result. First Responders treated a woman who fell as a result of the loud boom. Parade organizers say the woman is doing okay.

The parade came to a standstill for a moment, but resumed once security pushed the crowd away from the transformer.
