Student threatens to shoot another student via text

A Lakeside Junior High student is in police custody tonight after texting a threat to shoot another student.

A threat to kill someone is a very serious matter and the lil punk that made this threat should be severely punished. But who are we kidding? The pansies that make our laws and the pansies in the justice system do not think its appropriate to charge and punish kids.

I don't get it that nothing was done for momoftwo. This was a phone text and her child was actually almost killed. What's with that kind of action? Would like to hear more on that too.

That's what you get when you dumb down the schools and don't allow the schools to send all the thugs and troublemakers to reform school.

With all of the strange things happening in our schools lately, do you think maybe we should be investigating parents for negligence and bad parenting?

I think it is all political as far as investigation goes because another station says they will investigate certain things and when you ask they will decline.

I am very glad they found out who made the threatening text messages and have that person in jail. Making threats to kill another person is very, very serious! I wish the superintendent, teacher, principals and school board of Bryant High School had taken matters this serious last year when my sons throat was cut at Bryant High School By another student! Matter of fact, I wish Fox 16 and Donna Tarelle had helped me and my son when I called many times and asked for their help! I guess the actuall attempt of murder is not as serious as a text threat.
