FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in northwest Arkansas say two students and an adult were taken to a hospital after a school bus and a pickup truck collided.

Fayetteville Police spokesman Sgt. Craig Stout says the bus and truck collided head-on Monday afternoon. Stout says details of the collision were not known and were still being investigated- but that the injuries did not appear life-threatening.

Stout says a few students were on the bus during the crash. He says two of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. He did not have their ages.

Stout says the woman driving the pickup was also taken to the hospital with a head injury.

TruthTeller; You forgot one thing; they seem to have a difficult time staying on their side of the yellow line also. Especially here in Jax.

@duke - It's a lot more than speeding. I've personally witnessed school buses weaving in and out of traffic, "running" red lights, and drivers talking on cell phones and texting while driving. It's obvious by their actions, that not all school bus drivers take their jobs as seriously as they should.
