WHITE HALL, AR --
Jefferson County deputies provided us with dashcam video showing a deputy following substitute teacher Marla Sizemore after seeing a child riding on the SUV's running board last August. According to the citation, Sizemore told the deputy her son "was goofing off and wouldn't get back in the truck." As a result of the child endangerment conviction, a judge required her to wear an electronic monitoring system in lieu of jail time from February to March of this year.
Around that time, investigators received reports Sizemore hosted a party where high school and junior high school students drank and two teenage boys say they had sex with her.
It's got parents like Zack Hale upset.
"It kind of worries me a little bit because there's not enough checks and balances in place," Hale said.
White Hall School Superintendent Larry Smith said Sizemore's background check when she first signed up to sub came back clean. Had he known about it, he would have taken Sizemore off the substitute list immediately, just like he did when he learned about the latest allegations.
Parents say it shows that they have to monitor their children at all times.
"It's my responsiblity and my wife's to be that more determined and precise about what we teach our children, how we teach our children," said Hale.
