Suspect arrested in North Little Rock murder

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Officials from the North Little Rock police department report that a second suspect has been arrested in connection to a murder in Hemlock Court.

According to reports, Darrell Lawayne Esau II turned himself into the North Little Rock Police Department Headquarters at 10:30 pm on October 18. Esau was arrested on a warrant charging him with First Degree Murder, then transported to the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility where he is being held under no bond.

Police say the arrest is in connection to an incident on October 11, when police responded to a call about a shooting at 400 North Palm Street. When the arrived, officers found 25-year-old Jeremy Deron Flemons who appeared to have been shot. Flemonds was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.

I guess some do have a little intelligence, turning himself in, or maybe his family did to collect the reward..
