LITTLE ROCK, AR – One man has been charged with negligent homicide after
an accident on Cantrell road left one person dead and three others hospitalized.
According to reports, Demetrius Brown is now being charged with negligent homicide and carrying certain prohibited weapons after the May 24th accident left one woman dead and three others, including a four-year-old, injured.
Police say Brown appeared to be unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech on the scene. A 9mm beretta was found on Brown as he was being taken into custody.
Brown’s bond is set at $1,000,000.00. He plead not guilty to both charges in Little Rock District Court Tuesday.
The case was sent to circuit court for a hearing on July 30th.
