A teacher turned herself in Thursday morning after being reported for having sex with one of her students at a cabin in northern Hempstead County.

I know this young woman and her husband both very well. They are just like me - human and, as such, flawed. I don't condone what she did. Those of us who know them are devastated by this news. But I got out of the judging business LONG ago. She and her husband have already been through a great deal that would test anyone's strength. None of us know how we would react to any situation until we're in it ourselves. This is very sad, and ALL parties involved need love and prayers, not pointing fingers.

It's VERY sad that some of you are blaming the child. If this was a male teacher,and a girl student, you would be howling for his head.How is that fair ? Boys/guys can be victems,too. I don't know the whole story, so I believe in innocent until proven guilty. But what I am seeing & hearing on TV about this, is victemizing the student further. Please lend support & prayers for him.

Ok everyone I just wanna say that I have a very strong opinion on this matter but prefer to keep it to myself as I am biased towards one of the individuals involved..I do however want to ask everyone to be tactfull when making comments as none of us are aware of who may be reading this or know the situation entirely...

I don't know the truth of the whole situation but what EVERYONE needs to know is that if you make someone mad they can just go to their parents if they are a juvenile or just call the police and say someone did something sexual to you and you are automatically guilty. My children had her for a teacher and they don't believe she did any of this she is being accused of. As for Slim61 she is married and has a family ok. So why don't we all sit back and listen to everyone's story that is involved and find the truth not just go wild and start accusing.

Dang Woman-You WERE in a position of trust with a CHILD-A school is not a place to find a hook up-Hope that you go on the sex offender registry as you are just as much of a child molester as a man could ever be. You have the face of a mule-Could not get a date any other way???

sirbarksbig, did you just drop the name of the victim or does the term "Buck boy" have meaning? I'm just curious. This is happening a lot as of late. Do people not understand that it is wrong for not only teachers to engage in any type of relationship with students, but that it is also wrong for a person of age to be involved with a minor? Maybe they need to run commercials saying this, hell I dont know. LOL.

The student is just as much to blame. Just because he was not of age does not mean he did not want it. He could have denied her and turned her in right away. Did he? No he sure didn't. Although it is a terrible thing, it's all situational. You do not know what has gone on in her life to lead to this point. So as far as I see it... I think they should either both be punished for it or it should be let go. And again this is my opinion and if you disagree I DO NOT care and I think you should refrain from saying anything to me. Thank you!

Bungled story to begin with ; this woman isn't a teacher at Murfreesboro High School . The correct term is " was" a teacher there . From all the obvious knowledge that she'd been seeing the Buck boy and also lied acusing a cousins child about having condoms at school ( an outright lie) . There's way more truth you could tell ; but let's not step on any toes ya know Joe

what have happen to our teacher/preacher.We have always told our kids those are two people they can always go to.Now I guess we should send them to the gang bang
