BRYANT, AR- A Saline County Prosecutor is hoping a conviction sends the message that incidents of violence will not be tolerated in spite of the age of the defendant.
19-year-old Seth Bright will be spending the next several years in prison following an armed robbery that was caught on video.
The case against Bright alleged he robbed the same victim twice in two weeks in Tindell Park late last year.
The second time, Bright fired a gun in the air.
The incident was caught on video by a friend of the defendant.
Investigators were given the video, and charged Bright with Robbery and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons.
Bright pled No Contest and has been sentenced to 16 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.
Saline County Prosecuting Attorney Ken Casady hopes this sentence will serve as a warning to others.
