Carson was a good friend of mine. He wasn't mentally right, but that doesn't excuse his actions. I remember when we sat in class together and he would sing to me.. He was a good kid, he just made a bad choice...

I wonder how long it will take him to get used to seeing gray cinderblocks instead of blue sky.

@truthTeller.....you hit the nail on the head. Not including the families involved. I don't feel remorse for the kid. He did the crime and he needs to be dealt with accordingly. I personally don't want to pay his share to eat and sleep when the 17 is buried 6ft under. My heart goes out to the families and I pray you can find peace. Good thing is..this is not an unsolved case that gone cold and leaving a killer walking with the rest of us.

So sad. Makes you wonder what caused this. Now, one teen is dead. Another will either be put to death or spend the vast majority of his life in jail, and a third will have to live with the memories of what happened and whatever part he may have played in this. No winners here. Just one big loss for everyone involved, society included.
