@atomicphart you got it all wrong! If you don't know them dont judge them! Obviously the kids were messing around, but what kids don't! And dont bring your religious opinion in this conversation because its not the time or the place. Our community is dealing with a loss and no one wants to hear what you have to say. Why dont you do us all a favor and delete your rude an heartless comments and move on. you are obliviousy not a part of community and dont know what we are going through.

panther mom; I guess when you mention "...the previous post,...", you are talking about me. Read all the posts; I've already offered my thoughts and prayers. And it may be "fun" to fly down some road; but it's also inane. I've driven all over this country, and have yet to find a road I wish to "fly" down. Speed kills; just like the posters in my high school said. This is a sad situation; I hope the family that lost a loved one can find healing in our Lord and Savior; and I hope the driver can live with himself after killing a friend. Perhpaps the Lord will help him also. I drive by a telephone pole every day; a pole with flowers on it. A 16 year old just got his license, and daddy bought him a used car. First thing he did was go pick up his best friend, and decided to "fly" down Military Rd in Jax. Topped a hill, lost control, and killed his best friend. About 20 years ago. I've driven by those flowers thousands of times, and wonder how that person feels today. I guess he wasn't meant to "fly".

@Atomis Phart maybe you should work for the news..since you know EVERYTHING...How RUDE! These families are grieving on Thanksgiving, when they should be celebrateing..You have no respect and no sympathy for none. You too was a kid at one time, we have all made some choices, that could have landed us in hot water...oh WAIT you are PERFECT huh? Get out of here. For all who blame the parents..You sound DUMB, you don't know what these kids was doing, all you know is that they where out late, so they must have been doing something wrong. Kids will be kids, and learn from their mistakes, unfortunatley this is what it came down to. STOP being so judgemental. My thoughts and prayers go out to each of their families and friends.

@Atomic Phart you are so freaking ignorant. Too bad half the information you just said is wrong you IDIOT. Caleb is my bestfriend and he would never intentionally hurt someone. Drew's leg was amputated during the wreck. And other thing you are wrong on is that Caleb doesn't have internal bleeding. He doesn't even have a skull fracture dumbass! You piss me off so bad. All you do is talk crap. I wish you would say to my face. See how big you really are! And how are you going to sit there and say "imaginary sky friend"!? Seriously! You need some serious help. And I'm pretty sure there are drugs at EVERY SCHOOL. So start talking when you know the real facts.

My heart and prayers go out to all families and friends involved in this terrible accident. I have read the previous post, and it is sad that instead offering prayers people are so quick to judge and blame someone. I am a 1999 graduate of Bryant. I know the road and I know first hand how much fun it is to fly down that road with your friends. If in fact this IS what they were doing it could have happened at any time day or night. For me the fun was at 3:30 in the afternoon. This could have easily happened to my friends and I. I am terribly sorry for the families who are going through this. And even more sorry for them that there are poeople out there arguing about a sad situation no matter what the cause was. Lord be with these families andhelp them find peace in there heart...amen

One news source said none were wearing seatbelts. My thoughts and prayers still go out to the family's and friends; I've been in their shoes. Please people, learn from this tragedy, and teach your children to put that seatbelt on; so that we won't be reading about them. Someone said they were going over 100 mph. If that's true, then it wasn't an "accident"; it was cause and effect. The driver, if he was going that fast, was the "cause", and we all know what the "effect" was. Something else to teach your children; they ain't driving race cars at Indy. I'm not trying to be insensitive; go ahead and jump on me if you wish - but if I can save one life by talking some of you into sitting down with your children and speaking to them about speeding and seatbelts, then feel free.

Atomic turd or whatever your name is....you havnt a clue as to what you are talking about. Nothing you said was true by a long shot. I am Calebs sister and you need to get your facts straight before you run your mouth. My mom and dad and everyone involved have more important things to worry about than reading your clueless ignorant factless comments.

The truth may at times be painful. but most times it should be told to help prevent future tragedies such as this from happening to other teens, however most feel bullet proof I did.
