Then again some of you are upper middel class trash. Thugs come in every race, color, and creed and I never see most of you making comments when your white cousins are on here for raping 12 year olds or getting busted in the meth labs. You seem to get real silent with the posts at that time. You only have something to say when the culprit is Black. How amazingly educated and upstanding is that? I dont agree with the racist comments, but i do agree with these kids with the THUG mentality. Thugs do not have a color, it is however a mentality. I am sick of hearing other University's have this problem. We arent other University's, this seems to be an epidemic of kids who come from poverty or think they are above the law since they are athlete's and are put up on a pedastal when being recruited. I am sick of kids who have been giving an oppurtunity to get a college education and a path to the NFL, abusing that opportunity when kids who really want to go to college have to earn their way academically or work 2 jobs while going to school. Just keeping it real!

@ Sandman139....WOW!!!!!! Thank you for thinking like me. I read these comments early this morning and wanted to say something regarding the racial tension but I was so angry that I couldn't find the right words. You could not have said it better. I will honestly say this. I'm not from the South and I am proud that I was not raised by small minded white parents. I've found that living in a "Bible Belt" driven state that their is more hate and more racist people in this state then I've ever seen. Its saddening to think that their are so many close minded people that can not live in a diverse country. Oh well you and I can not change the minds of stupid people and we'll live happy lives while the ignorant stay ingnorant and unhappy.

Well Charlie baby it's not the school doing wrong. Or school still just sits there and looks pretty. It's the thugs we have to keep out messing things up. Maybe our public schools should keep better records on student behavior. Bad behavior of any kind no college. Make it only for the ones that can control their actions.

Well judging from the comments here, it seems that racism is our biggest commodity in Arkansas. These boys should be judged on their actions, not the color of their skin. It never ceases to amaze me that in the heart of the supposed Bible belt there is a constant flow of hate and ignorance. I don't condone what these boys have been accused of doing, but shame on you small minded back woods idiots for turning it into an issue of race. It is no longer 1950, so how bout we move on and deal with each other as humans. I know I'm probably wasting my breath on those of you ignorant enough to post that type of trash, but you need to hear that you are not commended for your pitifull opinions. You are all as much of a discrace as the criminals who committed the crimes.

CharlieVarney, U of A is not the only school that has had this problem. If you look at any college football program you will see similiar behavior. Look at Auburn where several players were charged for robbery last year. Trust me, Alabama, LSU, and other colleges have had similiar problems. In a lot of cases when you recruit from the hood, that is what you end up with. Even your colleges that are not division 1 in the NCAA have had similiar occurences. Either way this behavior is ridiculous. I am a huge football fan, but I find it troubling that thugs like this get full ride scholarships to play football and can't stay out of trouble. I know of students who have wanted to go to school to study science, business, become teachers, or study other degrees that could better themself or their family. Unfortunately they cannot afford to meet all of their expenses, even with various scholarships. I know that they and their family whould so appreciative of the chance to go to college. These arrest are such a waste.
