Three Small Tornadoes Confirmed in Northwest Arkansas Monday

The National Weather Service is continuing to check out damage from this week's stormy weather.

TULSA, OK- The National Weather Service in Tulsa has confirmed three tornadoes touched down Monday night in Northwest Arkansas.

There have been 15 twisters in the state so far this year.

All three from Monday were small, preliminarily rated EF-1.

One tornado traveled from 2.7 miles west-southwest of Christie in Adair County, Oklahoma, to 1.6 miles north of Cincinnati in Washington County, Arkansas.

A second tornado occurred about 6 miles southeast of Rogers in the Rocky Branch area.

The third touched down north of Siloam Springs.

No tornadoes were confirmed in the counties covered by the NWS office in Little Rock.
