Three people killed in separate accidents

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Three people died is separate accidents Saturday on Arkansas roads and highways. One accident also left two other people injured.

Arkansas State Police say 54 year old Wanda Wise of Hot Springs died when her northbound car crossed the centerline near the 5 mile marker on Highway 7 North in Hot Spring County. The victim’s car slammed into a southbound vehicle sending two other people to the hospital with unknown injuries. Wise was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hot Spring County Coroner.

An accident in Franklin County claimed the life of 21 year old Joshua Keith Myers of Ozark. Arkansas State Police say Myers died after losing control of his southbound motorcycle near the 37 mile marker on State Highway 219.

In Craighead county, a 17 year old lost her life after losing control of her vehicle eastbound on Lacy Drive in Jonesboro. Jonesboro Police report Sarah Waits of Walnut Ridge veered off the road entering a curve and hit a ditch.

This is so sad. Maybe we should all take notice. Sometimes we just don't pay close enough attention to unfamiliar roads, being over-tired and cars that you really don't realize how fast you are going anymore. Hope the survivors do well and re-cover soon. Condolences to those who lost their loved ones.
