I don't see any of the people complaining trying to bring in casinos. I will vote yes. I don't see this as a monopoly any more than Greyhound and Oaklawn! I hate the long drive to play for a couple of hours a couple of times a year. Talk about leaving empty buildings take a look at WalMart!

Can I please file a ballot measure that would allow me to be the sole owner of all gas stations in Little Rock? That's how asinine this is.

if/when they go bankrupt, it will be from lack of local support. who then would want to repeat her mistake? we don't need no stinkin' casinos.

from my understanding, they will be full fledged casinos that also have poker room, along with the attached hotels etc. If she were to go bankrupt, then a nother casino can by them from her under federal bankruptcy laws and run them.... her proposal only says that 4 casinos can be built where mentioned and no one else can come in and build more

I've been doing a little research on Nancy Todd. She is not a very successful poker player. Several times she has barely broke even in a tournament. She doesnt have hardly any wins, under $375,000 in earnings. I have not been able to find anything that would lead me to believe she can even run a "poker palace". So, my question is this. What are her plans? Can she afford to run run "poker palaces" in four counties or would she come in, build some little ass metal buildings, call them casinos and end up bankrupt in a few years and leave us with empty buildings. If she gets her way, and she does go under, no one else can bring in casinos. Dont let her have the exclusive right in Arkansas. We do need casinos to keep up with our neighbors, but not some backwoods poker rooms. We need real casinos. Let them come in and build them right. Do yourself and Arkansas a favor, before you vote, do some research on Nancy Todd and make the right choice.
