Trucker killed in I-30 hazmat spill

A trucker has been pronounced dead after a chemical spill shut down a stretch of Interstate 30 for more than 12 hours.

I am sure this man was good at his job and had experince but with time and age we start to loose things, everyone knows what I mean. After a certain age this type of driver or any other driver for that matter needs to be evaluated to see if they still have what it takes to drive safely.Too many peoples lives are at risk.

Knock it off with the age thing because he probably had much more experience than the younger speed demons that also have accidents.

There needs to be a cut off on the age requirements to get an keep your hazmat endorsement. not that age played a major part in this accident . Im sure it played a part.

that's sad...Is it wise for elderly folks to drive around with hazardous materials?
