TRUMANN, Ark. (AP) - Authorities have identified the two people found dead over the weekend in a Trumann mobile home.

Trumann Assistant Police Chief Gary Henry identified the deceased as 56-year-old Constance Cole and 57-year-old John Poff. The pair was found dead Sunday morning in Poff's home in Trumann.

Henry tells The Jonesboro Sun that the deaths are being investigated as a double homicide. He says investigators are pursuing leads and interviewing witnesses but that no suspects have been identified.

The bodies were found by a trailer park maintenance worker who did a welfare check of the home after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Authorities say witnesses told investigators that a car drove away from the home shortly after gunshots rang out.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trumann police.
