LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police arrested two people after a high speed chase Tuesday night.

According to reports, the pursuit began after an officer saw a white Lincoln Towncar leaving the Splash Carwash on Arch Street, with no headlights on. The driver of the vehicle attempted to lose the officer, which began a high speed pursuit down Arch Street with the suspect driving erratically and throwing a gun out of the window at a gas station.

When the suspect finally pulled over at the intersection of Arch Street and Willow Springs Road, the driver and passenger were arrested. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Terry Crook and the passenger was identified as 20-year-old Lacey Nichols, who initially gave her name as Cody Ford. Upon searching the vehicle, police found brass knuckles, a rifle in the trunk and uncovered a pistol at the gas station where it was thrown from the vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
