WHITE COUNTY, AR – Police have charged two men and are searching for two more in connection to the theft of a truck belonging to a man who was deceased.

According to White County PIO Steve Hernandez, on September 22, Deputies responded to calls about a suspicious vehicle located at Safety Road in the Judsonia area. When they arrived, deputies found the body of Elfren Beltran in the roadway.

Detectives say an investigation lead them to believe that Beltran had driven to Safety Road and shot himself in the chest while sitting in his truck. Detectives say later, 22-year-old Austin Flynn and 43-year-old Michael Hollingshead discovered Beltran’s body inside of the truck, pulled him from the vehicle and stole it.

Flynn and Hollingshead have been arrested and charged with Theft of Property along with Abuse of a Corpse. The men are currently being held in the White County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.

Detectives are also searching for 38-year-old Steven Earl Raymond 20-year-old Levi Garette Flynn in connection to this case. They are believed to live in the Judsonia and Bald Knob areas. Anyone with information on these two men is asked to call the White County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation’s Division at 501-279-6279.
