U-turn fatal

PINE BLUFF, AR – One person died in an unusual crash south of Pine Bluff just before midnight Wednesday. Arkansas State Police report the victim was making a u-turn at the time of the accident.

The victim is identified as 23 year old Darren Snow of Rison. The person driving a second vehicle involved in the crash was not injured.

The State Police fatality report indicates Snow’s pickup was stuck in the ditch along Highway 63 south of Pine Bluff, in Cleveland County. After being pulled from the ditch on the southbound side of the highway, Snow attempted to make a u-turn northbound. He hit a southbound Mack truck and died at the scene.
