LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Its Homecoming 2011 at UAPB and fans are ready. But when the ball kicks off Saturday, the team will be down more than a dozen players because of an after-game fight against Southern University a few weeks ago.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference suspended twenty-five players, but allowed coaches to stagger the punishments.

Therefore, 17 of the suspended players will not suit up Saturday. But alumni say homecoming will not miss a beat.

"We pride ourselves with excellence and grace and those suspensions are nothing to us," said alumnus Courtney Jackson.

Wow Hubert I hope you are not going to make journalism your career. In this one small article three glaring errors. The worst one " we PROUD ourselves" instead of PRIDE. Shameful!!
