LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock Police are investigating three separate shootings that left two people dead and two in the hospital.
The first shooting occurred before 8pm at the Pleasant Pointe Apartments in West Little Rock. Police say that a man and a woman in their 20’s were shot. The man died at the scene, the woman is in the hospital in critical condition.
Police also say that in addition to the two shooting victims, an older woman and child were in the apartment when the shooting happened.
The second shooting happened about an hour later at the Sunshine Mart on John Barrow Road. The victim, in his mid-30’s, was shot in the parking lot and died a short time later. Police say they do not have any suspects or motives in this case.
The third shooting happened after 10pm at the Colonial Apartments on Baseline Road. It is believed that the victim drove to a nearby Shell station on Geyer Springs and I-30 where he was then taken to the hospital.
The victim’s vehicle was a burgundy Oldsmobile with bullet holes through the back window. Police say he was shot in the gut. His condition is unknown.
Police say that all three shootings are unrelated.
