One suspect is behind bars in the Maumelle mini storage break-ins. Now police are looking for two others.

Stacy Jones was arrested for breaking and entering. He's also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and hindering apprehension.

Police say Jones and two other men broke into at least 30 storage units.

It’s unknown how much merchandise was actually stolen. But police are still investigating and looking for the other two men.
Maumelle Police are trying to find three thieves who broke into about 30 storage units at a mini storage business. Police say the folks at Maumelle Mini Storage have been working to let customers know about what happened. And as investigators look for the culprits, those at nearby businesses hope they won't be next. Maumelle investigators are still taking inventory of exactly what the burglars stole at Maumelle Mini Storage sometime Wednesday night or Thursday morning. The good news is surveillance video captured images of the crooks and police are analyzing them hoping to find out who did this.

It scared me initially because we are right next door," said Brad Richardson who works at Lucky's restaurant which shares a fence with the storage business. He says you hear about the occasional vandalism or theft in this area of Maumelle with primarily industrial businesses, but nothing like this with 30 units hit. He's afraid this is a sign of the times. "Money is a lot scarcer nowadays and people are going to extreme measures," Richardson said.

Those who work near the storage facility say they hope police catch the culprits soon, but in the meantime they're keeping a much closer eye on everything that happens near their businesses. "Everybody's looking out for everybody," said Greg Macci who works at a cable company next door. And Richardson said, "I try to do right myself and it just angers me that people would go to that extreme."
