CONWAY, AR – A man suspected of robbing the Centennial Bank in Conway purchased a truck the day before the robbery, according to the Conway Police Department.
Police say the truck is a 1997 Ford F250 extended cab, purchased Friday afternoon on Highway 65 north of Damascus. The following day the suspect robbed the bank and drove away in a maroon 4-door sedan. That car was found later in the Lowe’s parking lot and is currently in police custody.
The truck is described as being 2-wheel drive, spray-in bed liner, and a missing tailgate. It has factory aluminum wheels with no center caps and a large rear bumper with 2 D rings attached to it. The interior is tan and there is a CB antenna bracket inside the bed, but no antenna is attached.
The suspect is a man in his early to mid 50’s, 5’10” tall. He was wearing a tan blazer over a black dress shirt and a tie.
