BEEBE, AR - Beebe Police are trying to find the owners of more than $78,000 worth of stolen goods. Some have already come forward, while the man and woman accused of stealing everything, from lawn mowers to guns, face theft charges.

Beebe Police think the thefts started two months ago.

"It's a very large amount," says Beebe Police Officer Josh Middleton.

Monday, Middleton showed FOX16 some of the items recovered from a secluded yard in Beebe Saturday morning.

"I've not heard of one of those being stolen. The four-wheelers and trailers, that's kind of a normal thing, but not the excavator," says Middleton.

Saturday, a tip lead police down a dirt road to a mobile home where officers arrested Franklin Darby and Kimberly Fowler.

"They were somewhat cooperative in letting us know what was stolen," says Middleton.

The pair faces theft of property charges, and Fowler faces the additional charge of felon in possession of a firearm. Both went to the White County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Monday, a man stopped by to pick up his stolen air compressor. He didn't want us to show his face on camera, but he was happy to get his air compressor back.

Police also recovered three guns, a scooter stolen from Cabot, and a Bobcat loader from Austin. Most of the items, though, came right from Beebe.

"They're excited (to get their items back) because they didn't think they would see it again. And, they're relieved to get their property back," says Middleton.

Beebe Police tell FOX16 to expect more arrests. If you think you're missing any of your belongings, you need to pick them up at the Beebe Animal Control office during regular business hours.

Lonoke County is also investigating a case possibly connected to this one in Ward, where police say a John Deere riding mower, 5 firearms, 2 large screen TVs, a large air conditioning unit, an industrial saw, a laptop computer, a small amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found on the scene at 11 Kirkland Street. Arrested on the scene were 28-year-old James Arras, 34-year-old Chad Julian and 31-year-old Derrick Beasley. Arras was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft by receiving and possession of a defaced firearm, while Julian and Beasley were arrested for possession of a firearm.
