UPDATE: Blasting caps found in auction container safely removed

BATESVILLE, AR – Residents have been allowed to return to homes that were evacuated after authorities removed some blasting caps found in a container bought at auction.

Emergency crews responded to the 2700 Block of Highway 167 North just outside of Bateseville, where a man found blasting caps inside of a container bought at an auction.

Tom Jackson of the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management tells FOX16 that five homes were evacuated for safety.

story doesn't say how big the container was or how many caps are involved - not enough facts.
