Cantrell Road has reopened after shutting down due to a fire at an abandoned house Thursday afternoon.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Cantrell Road has reopened after shutting down due to a fire at an abandoned house Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, the fire took place at an abandoned house not far from the intersection of Cantrell and Chenal. Two firefighters suffered non-heat related injuries, which sent one to the hospital.

A large portion of Cantrell road was closed for about a block in the vicinity of the blaze.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
