LITTLE ROCK, AR – Officials say a UAMS employee was found dead on the 9th floor Saturday afternoon.

According to David Robinson of the UAMS Medical Center, an employee was found unconscious on the ninth floor by another employee around 4:00 pm Saturday, and was later pronounced dead. Robinson says the ninth floor is an equipment area and is not open to the public. The cause of death is unknown at this time, and the victim has not yet been identified.

FOX16 will have more information on this story as it becomes available.

Why do all these people dislike Fox but continue to stay on here. I just wonder if some of them are deleted on other sites. Negativity is useless unless it is all that makes you happy. Some need to get a life and go to a site that is perfect. Name one.

I'm not trying to be mean, but you guys need to read more carefully. It says he was FOUND unconscious at 4pm and LATER pronounced dead. This means they found him and thought he was alive and later found that he died or he died later on. It's pretty clear. No need to be rude to the journalists. Just use your context clues and read more carefully. I'm sure many people, myself included, wouldn't want my writing picked through so rudely. :) How about instead let's pray for the persons family and the co-workers that may be affected by this persons passing.

They can only print what they get reported to them. Might have been poor quality reporting from the origin. To some That would be UAMS. Other than that the story was all it could be. He was found one way and latter discovered to be the other. Maybe he was found by one of the uneducated people that they sometimes hire. Then again that might of even have been the person making the report for 16.

I agree, shameless! I'm really annoyed with this story. My boyfriend works in Physical Plant at UAMS, so we are pretty concerned with the facts of this story since it will obviously be a close co-worker. There is nothing but inaccurate information here. It says that they haven't released the cause of death, but this story is 'tagged' as an electrocution story, which I really hope is NOT the case. But, we'll just have to wait for better information. This is awful!
