LONOKE COUNTY, AR – Officials from the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Department tell FOX16 that a local radio personality has been found safe.

According to Lt. Jim Kulesa with the Lonoke County Sheriff's Department, Willard E. Moran, known as "DC McGehee" of The Heather and DC Morning Show, was found sleeping in his attic.

Moran was reported missing after he didn’t show up for work Friday morning. Kulesa said family members went to his house and found his vehicle parked in the driveway, but no signs of Moran.

FOX16 will have more information on this story as it becomes available.

It obviously makes no sense. He is a grown man and can't come up with a better excuse than that? If it usually doesn't make sense, then it's not true! If you have listened to those two in the mornings on the radio, you know they aren't the brightest light on the front porch! Just saying... :)

there is no reason for name calling...... his binge made him a no call no show at his job...... is that an often occurrence??????how often does he hide in the attic??????? this is strange behavior but not illegal...... however overreacting is what the police do so they should pay for it..

Your postings show how uneducated and Idiots you are. First why should he have to pay for anything? He didn't call the police. He didn't overreact and jump the gun. His family and police did. Second it was obviously reported he was actually in a built Safe Room which happens to be in the upper level of his home. Safe Rooms can be sound proof and undetectable. We could assume two things, hes having family problems and at the same time getting broken into. I just love all you armchair detectives. Each one of you should go to work for The Lonoke County Sheriffs Office.

OK this is what I am thinking. He and his boyfriend were in the attic doing the dog collar thang on a little cocaine and vodka, and did not want to answer the door and get caught with their pants down (so to speak). Truth is - he is obviously not that important, I did not know who he is and neither did anyone that I talked to down here in Grayton Beach.

OK this is what I am thinking. His house was recently robbed, and was having trouble sleeping. MAYBE he took some strong sleeping pills, I have heard that they can make you sleep walk, and that's how he got in the attic. I highly doubt that he would do this for ratings or attention. I mean surely he would have known everyone would turn on him. That would be a very stupid move. Everyone always jumps to the worst conclusions. I honestly think any way he turned up alive, people would say he was doing it to get attention. If you need someone to blame, maybe the police, for not searching the attic well enough, or jumping to the massive search to early. Other people thought he was missing, why should he have to pay?

Did none of you not ever get sick of people. My wife and I used to have to hide at times. We never had any time alone. His job being what it is might have helped him get there. Sometimes you just get tired. Thanks DC for showing us the great place to hide. I'm heading to get some stuff to make it possible in my home. Just think how boring the world would be if we all liked the same things, thought alike, and acted alike. Old granny and I have crawled into a few unusual spots in our 35 years. Seems like I can remember falling into a deep comma type sleep a few times after getting there. To bad you all didn't enjoy your life and partner more. 35 years! I could be wrong but I don't think so
