UPDATE: Man dies after being shot in head

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police report that a man who was shot in the head at Arch and 28th Streets around 4pm Sunday has died.

According to Sgt. Cassandra Davis with the Little Rock Police Department, police responded to a call about shots being fired at 28th and Arch Street on November 18. When they arrived, they found the victim, later identified as 19-year-old Davante Williams, suffering from gunshot wounds. WIlliams was transported to UAMS where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Officers later made contact with the suspect, 25-year-old Theodore Davis, at 1321 College Street. Davis was interviewed along with several witnesses and was later charged with second degree murder in connection to Williams' death.

Davis pleaded not guilty and is free on a $25,000 bond until his next court appearance.

Before someone pulls the old card out; my reference to "these people" was to the human race; not directed at any one particular race; so put the card back for another day please. Peace out.

Sad really. Can't understand why they think they have to use guns to solve their problems! One young life gone, and another young one going to prison. What is wrong with these people!

"responded to shots being fired", that is plural and you are right, shots are not accidental, they are the ghetto solution to a problem
