UPDATE: Man found dead on Mablevale Pike identified

Andre Is My Big Brother and I'm shocked to see that people can find it in their hearts to say something like what golf dude said but regardless Dre was and will always be the most peacemaking man I know whoever did this I pray daily that ur family finds u like I had see my brother "Cold" & Dead!!! I have no pity for u or ur family like u had none for my brother my mother or me...want me come on cause if I EVER get a chance to get u back I will and pray about it later! I love Andre Jemar Thompso... He's my Brotha!! Rip Dre justice will be served

i met this wonderful young man after my husband and i moved in a few doors down from him. i admired him for the relationship he had with his daughters (not many young men today is that involved with their children)and how attentitive he was with his dog. i was totally amazed and out done to learn of this tragedy,Andre had such a beautiful and kind spirit. i pray for his loved one, that God will lead them through this time of grief.

I was Andres boss and I learn a lot about my employees being with them everyday. Andre was not just a good man but a great one. He did nothing to deserve this. Rest In Peace. Your Cracker Barrel Family will miss you and never forget you.

To golfdude2. This was a very good young man with two very smart daughters he mentored everyday. He worked almost everyday. He would help anyone he came across. Always full of joy. He didnt have an evil bone in his body. I know have been together for over five years. And we moved to SWLR to save money to buy a house and get married. What thug you know does thats. Help found justise and stop bad mouthen people.

To anyone that was my frist cousin he was like a brother to me him an his yunger brother. He was a good person he would do for anyone but you only know that if you know him. This is hard for his brother my aunt and my mother but we shall get thru this as a family.. I pray and ask god to send his murder to tha judgement and table and dnt have mercy on him or them whom ever they may be.Now he as left a beautiful daughter behind may god bless your soul Andre Thompson, and tha devil recieve their soul and burn for all tha hurt they have dumped on our family...

Thats so sad! I pray they find who did this. This man hasn't even had a chance to live his life. Losing a life at 27 is way too young. May God be with his family in the next coming months as they cope with this reality.

I don't live too far from here. I could have been on that street cutting through and god forbid something happened. Just because this was in Mabelvale doesn;t make that person a thug!!! WOW
