UPDATE: Missing Independence County man found dead

The body of a missing 63-year-old man was found Tuesday by an Independence County River craft unit.

Lawrence McKinney had not been since December 30th after he walked out of the White County River Medical Center.

The sheriff’s office says McKinney’s body will be sent to the Arkansas Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. They say there is no sign of foul play in the death.
