SEARCY, AR - White County deputies say a man they believe is responsible for a shooting that took place late last month has been captured in Indiana.
The shooting happened at 133 Oak Forrest Road, north of Searcy, on June 27.
According to the sheriff’s office, a woman known as “13” came into the home and told the victim, 25-year-old Perry Neal, that someone was there to talk to him. Neal came into the front room where he and a man, believed to be Lee Allen, got into “a brief scuffle” before Neal was shot.
Lee Allen, 31, of Searcy, has been charged with first-degree battery. Details of his capture have not been released.
