Conway police have released video of the shooting outside the police department that claimed a man's life. The suspected shooter is charged with first degree murder and is out on bond. The victim's girlfriend appeared in court as well.

Deranda Carter is devastated by all of this. She watched the man she loves get shot and killed. Now she can't believe the man accused of killing him is out of jail. Police released video of the shooting, which is included in this article. It may be disturbing to some people.

Video from a camera mounted on the Conway Police Department captured the shooting of Chris Childress from beginning to end. It shows Childress get out of the car at the police department to confront Cortez Waller.

Cortez starts shooting and then turns himself into police. Childress' girlfriend, Deranda Carter and their three children, watched it happen. She admits she had an affair with Waller and Childress followed him to confront him.

"Just to confront him, he didn't have no weapon or anything," says Carter.

Monday Carter showed up to court for a hearing in the case and learned Waller had already been released on a bond $22,500.

"Now they let a murderer out on bond, a cheap bond," says Carter.

With Waller out of jail, Carter fears for her life but says she will fight hard to get the man who killed her fiance and the father of her children back behind bars.

"I'm going to be here every time they come to court. I loved him and I didn't want anything to happen to him," says Carter.

Waller was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault.  Waller could face 10-40 years in prison on the murder charge, and up to six years for assault.

Now that young man had his scrubs on he just left work and the victim followed/pursued him, it's obvious on the video he was going to the police department fast and in a hurry the way he pulled in and parked/ open the door exiting the vehicle before it came to a complete stop (showed he was trying to avoid the victim). Then the victim blocked him in jumped out his vehicle ran over to the guy before he could get away. to me it looked like the victim was the aggressor. The way he whipped his truck in the parking space can you imagine how he was driving pursuing the guy, to drive like that in front of the police station. I feel bad for all involved including the woman, she didn't know he was a fool. It's more to this story than some people know, he/victim thought this young man was going to be an easy whopping. Never underestimate NO one. His foolishness is what got him killed combined with the triangle. The shooter had a restraining order against the victim. For the shooter not to be charged with possession of an concealed weapon nor unlawful discharge of a firearm, says a lot people. This guy is going to walk and well should in my opinon. Heck even banks/federal buildings have security guards outside their facilities. If one of the cops that was in the building would have been on duty patroling the lobby this could have been avoided. He went to the station trying to get help, but all officers were tucked away in their cozy offices.

Darwin's law prevails again, you don't run up to people you don't know acting like a retard on them, but it's nice to know that in our country you can kill someone in cold blood in front of the police station adn get out on bond.

for those who think that im making this a race "game" that isnt it at all.racism is not a game it is something thats very hurtful to alot of ppl.i bring this topic up because alot of ppl just want to ignore or are too afraid to say anything.just because we dont talk about it doesnt mean its not there.with that being said im entitled to my own opinion and i feel that if he would have killed a white person i dont think he would be free now.this do not mean i hate white ppl i just think think our justice system needs some work.

Why is everything made a race game. This man shot and killed a man and it was caught on tape. It should not matter if he was black, white, pink or purple,he should be in jail. NO BOND.

@uss001 I totally agree with you! If she hadn't put herself in that situation none of this would've happened... I'm not saying all of this was her fault (she didn't pull the trigger).

You gotta be a real chickens--t to shoot someone instead of fighting like a man, I forgot, he's a BOY. Oh well, the little BOY will be dropping that orange suit for Bubba for a long time.

Every single time a crime is commited and reported on here someone always finds a way to blame the woman. If he was crazy enough to kill someone in front of a police department then why is it so hard to believe that he was a crazy stalker too? He is out on bond because it's cheaper to let them out than to house them it cost around $100 a day. That is why we don't keep criminals in jail anymore. There is no conspiracy for "minorities" to kill more "minorities". Although, the NAACP may have a few conspiracies about getting caucasians based off the headline at foxnews.com.
