LITTLE ROCK, AR – The suspect in a Sunday afternoon shooting that left one woman injured has been arrested.

According to reports, 37-year old David Kincade was arrested by Arkansas State Police Sunday night during a traffic stop near the Dallas and Clarke County line. Kincade, who reportedly planned to turn himself in to police, is suspected of shooting his wife, 43-year-old Dawna Kincade, in the head and leaving her in the yard at 608 Russenberger Road in Little Rock.

Dawna Kincade is being treated for her injuries at UAMS, which are believed to be non-life threatening at this time.

FOX16’s Karoline Wightman is on the scene and will have more information on this story as it becomes available.

No one know what happen so stop talling mess. Believe me no one want to touch David Kincade or cause him any pain believe it. No matter what she did, David was wrong and he know it and hate he did it but now it is time to pray for both of them and their daughter. Judge not so you want be judged the same way by that which you judge others.

It's evident that some of you know her and all have valid points, but instead of talking about what she did and didn't do and what she should and shouldn't have done why not pray for her strenght and a full recovery. When things happen to people we are quick to comment about them in a questionable way, unless you have walked a mile in their shoes you don't know what's going on your only on the outside looking in saying i couldn't be me or why did she do or why didn't she do and who to say that is she did or didn't turn in the order of protection and if she did and this still happen or worse she was killed then what would the comment be would that still be said to be a bad idea because she turned it in. We can only speculate as to what is could have been but now is the time to pray for her and her family and her recovery. May God be with her and her family, bring her through all of this with a full recovery and full restoral of her strenght and completness. She's a wonderful person and I'll be glad to say yes I know her and don't care why she did or didn't do as long as she makes a full and complete recovery is all that matters to me.

He was going to turn himself in my butt. When? After he robbed someone, got high and tried to kill her or someone else? This piece of ghetto trash needs to have a bullet to the head.

I really hate he did that to her, and hopefully she makes a full recovery may GOD always look over her. Why some people just can't walk away? instead of remaining in an abusive relationship it's not good for you nor the kids. You hear at times about the love you feel for that person, but is it really worth your life?

She dismissed her order of protection against him. Bad idea.

reggie, I agree he should get his, but he wont. When it comes to the victim or victims' famalies to get justice, dont hold your breath. The best place for him, and many like him, is 6 feet under.
