FAULKNER COUNTY, AR – FOX16 confirms two family members are dead after an early morning fire in Faulkner County.

According to the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office, the blaze was at a residence located at 63 Lake View Circle, off Brannon Landing on Lake Conway. The victims have been identified as seven-year-old Abby Robbins and her grandmother, 63-year-old Janice Robbins. Police say the girl’s father died in Iraq.

I agree with protector20...this is heartbreaking. I am wondering what about the child's mother...story says nothing about her. I hope there is a followup story...perhaps we could learn what caused the fire and all of us can try to avoid a similar tragedy?
