I believe it has been proven that Vikings were the first to arrive in North America. They just didn't stick around for unknown reasons. I recently did some research just out of curiosity. I checked all the countries in Central and South America. Almost to a country, they are, or in the recent past, have been led by dictators and military junta's. Some were allied with the Nazi's. Mexico had a secret agreement with Hitler according to some. They would get "their" land back after we surrendered. Argentina was a haven for Nazi war criminals. Where was Mexico during our WW's? During our fight with communism in Korea and Nam? Do we really want these kind of people here? Can we really trust them? Just sayin'. There was a time in the not too distant past when you witnessed white's and black's working construction jobs, framing, concrete, etc. What do you see now when a building is going up? Unemployment is out of sight; and illegal's are taking jobs that rightfully belong to those that live here legally.

Like I said, Caveman mentality; regardless of color. I don't have a problem with legal immigrants; we all came from immigrants with the exception of Native Americans. My problem is with the illegal ones. And then there are the cartels; I'm sure everyone is familiar with what they do, on both sides of the border. I know some have close bonds with Hispanics. I've had close friends that were Hispanic; can't be helped if you live in AZ or TX. But I've also had some tell me that for the most part, Hispanics do not like white or black people. True or not? I don't really know. I do know that in 2000, when our factory was closing, and another company was moving things into our warehouse, they used Mexicans to unload the trucks. One told me that in 5 years, Spanish would be the National language here. Guess he was wrong. Why can't they assimilate into our culture like everyone else did? That's all I ask, other than come here legally. Keep your customs, your way of life, but learn ours as well! If I'm not mistaken, one of you once said your family came from Germany. Do you think the government, and the factories they worked in put signs up in German for them? Do you think our schools taught German to American citizens to help them "assimilate" into our culture? Of course not. By all means, come here as legal immigrants, and learn our national language while you are here.

Butch54 you are right again, i agree with your comments, mexicans are for the most part trying to live a dream that is possible in this country, well its not impossible let me put it like that. they should be treated with respect assuming they are legal. illegals need to go back and come back the right way.

for blacks to be bullying says a lot about what they are being taught at home. we have had centuries of "bullying" and for a parent to not teach their children better than to sterotype and bully someone just because of cultural differences is a major FAIL on the part of the parents. kids will be kids but this could be prevented for the most part if parents would explain to them how hurtful it is to be treated like that. i am against bullying in the fullest. this is wrong and needs to be fixed asap.

Hall High is a pit from hell. I feel sorry for any child attending that school trying to get a education. The only education they get is one in how to survive the best you can. Make no mistake, LR School District and their employees DO NOT run that school. It is ran by the Jr. Thugs and criminal element of this city.

You have one group trying to meth their selves to death. Another group that can't stop shooting each other. One group that doesn't want anything but to improve their lives and that of their family. Which Group do you think I would want to hang out with. Then their is another group. You know. The ones that can't find it in them to be any part of human. Some comment on here. If nothing else these people have a positive attitude. Then again when you think of it who were the first people in the new world. I believe they were Native Americans and Spanish speaking people.
