Update: 1 Arrested in Deadly Jacksonville Shooting, Police Searching for 2nd Suspect

Police were called to the scene on Craft Street early Thursday morning.
Update (3 p.m.):
JACKSONVILLE, AR -- A victim has been identified and an arrest has been made in a Jacksonville shooting that left one dead early Thursday morning.

Police say 32-year-old Courtney Marshall (pictured) has been charged with first-degree murder and battery in Thursday's shooting death of 31-year-old LaTravis Morant, of Jacksonville.

Detectives are currently looking for a second suspect, 33-year-old Stanley Nelson (pictured), who they say stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds.

According to the Arkansas Department of Community Correction (DCC) Nelson is currently on parole until 2033. He was convicted in 2001 for discharging a weapon from a vehicle and spent 10 years in prison before being paroled in 2011.

JACKSONVILLE, AR - One person has been killed in a shooting on the city's east side.

It happened shortly after 2:00 this morning in the 1800 block of Craft Street.

Police say an aggravated assault had been reported there.

A second person was taken to the hospital where they were treated and released.

Police are not yet releasing any additional details.
