God was on her side. If that had happen to me, I would probably never drive again.

so glad she's okay, it's kind of a miracle that she was only scratched up...rdoliver, I'm so sorry that your family had to go through that tragedy..Can't imagine how bad your mom feels and how traumatic that must have been for all of you..

Thank god and this little girl has an angel over her shoulder. @ Rdoliver...that is a horrible story and as a mother I can not imagine kiling my own child accidentlly. I have ran over 1 of my sons foot by accident and I felt horrible. My prayers to you all

This brings back so many memories of my little brother Johnny (18 months old)whom my mother backed over in 1968. He died during transport to the hospital. My dad was in the hospital and was just diagnosed with TB and she was trying to get all of us kids in the car. There were six of us kids at the time. I was 9 years old. Johnny could not get in on the drivers side so he toddled around behind the car to get in on the passenger side. Momma did not know he was not in the car. I can still to this day fell the bump as the car backed over him. My mother has never been the same since this accident. I am glad this child survived this because it could have been much worse.

I cannot imagine anything more awful than this...everyone will need help healing for years to come. I am humbled by how fortunate I am.
