Update: Man Arrested in Connection to Cabot Bank Robbery

Robbery happened at First Arkansas Bank and Trust on July 20.
CABOT, AR -- A Jacksonville man has been arrested in connection to a Cabot bank robbery that occurred in late July.

The Cabot Police Department (CPD) says 49-year-old Charles Steven Martin, of Jacksonville, was arrested as the main suspect in the robbery at First Arkansas Bank and Trust on July 20.

CPD were assisted by North Little Rock Police and Special Agents with the FBI as they attempted to locate and apprehend Martin on Saturday after what police are calling an "intense" investigation.

Martin is accused of entering the bank carrying a gun and wearing a stocking over his face before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money.
