LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Pulaski County Coroner says that a man died a short time after being hit near the intersection of Markham and Pearl Ave. He has been identified as 49-year-old Michael Rogers.
Rogers was taken to UAMS where he was pronounced dead.
Little Rock Police say a witness told them that a tan 1993 Oldsmobile 88 was going west on Markham, changed lanes and hit Rogers who was standing in the middle of the street.
The driver, 80-year-old George Cook, told police he never saw Rogers.
The investigation is continuing. There are no charges at this time.
