New allegations and rebuttals in the fight to suspend and fire Little Rock School Superintendent Roy Brooks.
In a letter released Thursday Brooks' lawyer claims the superintendent's contract states Brooks can be suspended if he engaged in conduct which seriously impaired his ability or fitness to lead the district.
But he says Brooks received no notice of conduct falling under that clause. In response the school board's lawyer claims Brooks was notified and witnesses at the suspension hearing planned for Monday will further show those grounds.
