Update: Toddler found safe, kidnapping supsect in custody

LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man suspected of kidnapping his 18-month-old daughter and stabbing the girl’s mother with an ice pick has turned himself in.

The Howard County Sheriff’s Office says Ralph Morrison, III brought his daughter and turned himself into U.S. Marshals at an attorney’s office in Texarkana Monday.

18-month-old Zahkairi Morrison was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The sheriff’s office says she appeared to be unharmed.

Morrison was taken to the Howard County Jail where he is being held on $250,000 bond.

Thank God he did the right thing and manned up to turn himself in as well as return his daughter unharmed. @pat72209...you are an ignorant idiot yourself. "This is like all these young black men (good looking)that carry guns" You're just to stupid to insult.

What does a MAN think he is going to do with his little girl? Hide her? Raise her? THIS IS JUST TO GET REVENGE ON MOTHER. He is an idiot obviously. Hopefully he didn't plan on killing the child...SURELY he expects to go to jail..uhh no, he is an idiot. This is like all these young Black men (and they usually are good looking) that think they have to carry a gun for protection........SOMEONE IS GOING TO WIND UP DEAD AND THE OTHER IS GOING TO THROW HIS LIFE AWAY IN PRISON...IDIOTS. hope this little girl is found OK...God Bless her and her mother.

He ran into the woods with an 18 month old. I would think it wouldn't be hard to track him down if he is on foot.

i have to hope this child is live and well but with the brutality he subjected to the mom..... my fear is this child is dead. and to all the "homies" who helped him get away i hope they fry your nuts. and to that scumbag...i hope the cops put so many holes in ur worthless body the dam bugs eating your rotting flesh get lost
